One of the best parts of Star Wars is the expanded universe.
In that universe is a deeply thought out philosophy about power, with the 'Ayn Rand survival of the fittest' Sith Lords on one extreme and the Jainist Jedi's on the other.

If the Force is ultimate power, how should it be wielded?
The Jedi code enshrines their principles into coherent and succinct dogma taught to all Jedi:
Code of the Jedi
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the force.
I felt that there needed to be one for the 21st century financial markets:
Code of Finance
There is no government, there is syndicate.
There is no differential, there is arbitrage.
There is no bubble, there is efficiency.
There is no risk, there is diversification.
There is no limit, there is leverage.
There is no conglomerate, there is synergy.
There is no loss, there is tax credit.
